Jessica Drake – Early life
Jessica Drake (born October 14, 1974 in Dallas, Texas) is an American pornographic actress. Drake spent much of her early life growing up around the state of Texas in different cities including San Antonio and El Paso. Drake attended a community college in El Paso and then attended the University of Texas-El Paso and majored in psychology. While attending college, Drake made a living as an exotic dancer, during which she met many featured dancers who also worked in the adult film industry, and decided to give it a try herself. She credits Michael Raven and Sydnee Steele as people instrumental in her transition from dancing to adult films.

Jessica Drake – Adult film career
Jessica Drake - Adult film careerDrake began by going to Los Angeles and touring film sets and companies before actually starting to work in adult films. She also did photo shoots and worked for Playboy while in Los Angeles. Her first, real experience in adult film came as a “condom and lube girl” on the set of a Jill Kelly film. She finally began her own acting in adult films in 1999. Her first film was titled Pussyman’s Decadent Divas 4. She soon signed a contract with Sin City and made several movies with that studio and afterwords signed a contract with Wicked Pictures. She has been a contract star with Wicked since 2003 and has made more than 50 films with the company. She has started writing and directing adult movies as well and has been writing films since her tenure with Sin City. Her directorial debut came in the film Jenna Depraved in 2006.

Drake has also appeared in several television shows. She appeared in one episode of the short-lived TV series The Money $hot and the pilot episode of Skin. She made an appearance, along with her former husband Evan Stone, in the HBO special Pornucopia: Going Down in the Valley. The pair appeared in an episode titled Love and/or Sex which pertained to couples working in the adult entertainment business. Drake was also one of several porn actors shown in the The Tyra Banks Show episode, A Day in the Life of a Porn Star.

Drake’s name is usually spelled “jessica drake” (all lower case). Drake’s story as to how this came about was she was signing autographs at a convention about three months after starting in the adult business using “Jessica Drake” (proper case) but she was unhappy with how it looked. After the convention, she experimented with various ways of signing and settled on the lower case version of her name.

For the film Manhunters, Drake became a certified fugitive recovery agent.

Jessica Drake – Full Biography
Jessica Drake BiographyKarma can mean many things, but for Jessica Drake it has always meant an abundance of riches, charm, and success. Obviously endowed with great physical beauty, it is her provocative personality and sweet disposition that have helped this Wicked Pictures contract star develop one of the most acclaimed careers in the adult industry. And on January 13th 2007, that career reached a new pinnacle of success, as the blonde superstar supplemented her duties as host of the most-attended event in AVN awards history by taking home awards for Best Actress – Film (for director Brad Armstrong’s bounty hunter epic Manhunters) and Best All-Girl Sex Scene – Film (for Armstrong’s elegant vignette film FUCK). But the unveiling of the 2008 AVN Nominations suggests that even greater accomplishments are in Jessica’s immediate future, as she received a formidable number of mentions, including Best Actress – Video for Michael Raven’s Delilah, Best Supporting Actress – Video for Love Always (which she also penned the screenplay for), and three sex scene noms for her work in Armstrong’s cinematic fable The Craving.

In light of these recent achievements, it’s important to remember that even before she was an official member of Wicked’s creative team, Jessica had appeared in some of the company’s most impressive productions, including Armstrong’s Dream Quest and Falling From Grace, and Jonathan Morgan’s About A Woman, for which she received an AVN nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Prior to this, she’d received many other AVN noms, including Best New Starlet 2000, Best Couples Sex Scene 2001, Best Supporting Actress 2001, Best Tease Performance 2001 (which she won), Best Girl/Girl Scene 2002, and Best Group Scene 2002. It was obvious to Wicked from these early performances that Jessica was a unique find. Since inking her deal in 2003, she has appeared in such landmark, AVN-heralded titles as Morgan’s sci-fi spectacular Space Nuts, Armstrong’s The Collector and Sold, and Michael Raven’s Perfect Life and Highway. Jessica also starred in Armstrong’s charming Fluff & Fold, an acclaimed AVN Editor’s Choice which earned her a much deserved 2005 AVN Award for Best Actress.

At the 2006 AVN Awards, she received a wealth of new nominations, including Best Actress for Armstrong’s One Man’s Obsession, and Best Supporting Actress for both Armstrong’s Eternity and Morgan’s Camp Cuddly Pines Power Tool Massacre. The following year’s AVN nominations saw her popularity reaching even higher levels, as she received eight major noms, including Best Actress – Video (Curse Eternal), and Contract Star Of The Year. Even a glance at her track record reveals this actress to be one of adult’s most precious assets. After all, this is the woman who has spent time in Sacramento, California meeting with state legislators as a part of the Free Speech Coalition’s Celebrate Free Speech Lobbying Days. And it’s the same woman who graced a photo essay commissioned by the U.N. in 2005.

But as insightful and thoughtful as she may be, this sultry vixen can always be counted on to deliver a dose of the provocative. Her wit and beauty have made her a well-known face in the mainstream. Jessica has appeared in Premiere, Chord, and Stuff magazines, been profiled on HBO’s Pornucopia, done radio interviews with metal legends Anthrax, danced on-stage with Kid Rock, worked on the FOX TV series Skin, appeared on G4’s Attack Of The Show, walked the red carpet at the Grammy Awards, supported such Hollywood charities as Cuties For Canines, and been featured on Late Night with David Letterman. Other TV appearances include interviews on AMC’s Sunday Morning Shootout, the CW’s The Tyra Banks Show, and Criss Angel’s Mind Freak. Thanks to an expanded deal with Wicked, Jessica will be writing and directing four movies in 2008. It’s a path she’s prepared for by assistant directing such Armstrong projects as Coming Home, Last Night, and Just Between Us, and writing the screenplays for Love Always, Just Between Us, and Dating 101. As a performer, she continues to thrill fans in such celebrated titles as Mobster’s Ball, Dating 101, Tasty, and Bad Girls.

She’s gorgeous to be sure, but Jessica transcends mere physical allure. So get to know one of the most charismatic personalities in adult entertainment, because everything she does is certain to glow with vitality – just like the woman herself.
